Ingredients:
1 C sugar
1/2 C shortening
2 well-beaten eggs
2 cups pumpkin
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 bag milk chocolate chips
Cream cheese frosting-homemade is best*
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and shortening in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin and mix well. Sift in dry ingredients and mix. Stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop cookies onto baking stone and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies dont sink when touched. Let cool on a cooling rack.
Frost with cream cheese frosting. They should melt in your mouth!
